Another great DC gig – even without me on guitar. I was standing in the crowd. It was the first time I’ve seen my own band play. A bizarre experience. John Chamberlain did a sterling job filling in and the tunes sounded seamless. We/they belted out Strangeworld, Uptown Mizer, Staring Into Space and Nobody Knows to name a few. A mini mosh pit emerged and a few people got a bit wet from the beer flying through the air.
Following the set, pretty much everyone stayed around for the standard DC club night and there was some serious white boy dancing to be seen. None less than from me, Sam and Mike Jardin who were strutting our stuff on stage to the amusement of…well…everyone!
All in all it was a top notch night which resulted in a few sore heads the following morning.
